In Memory Of

Anna Nunnikhoven

May 28, 1908 - October 24, 2007

Anna Nunnikhoven was born to Jacob and Eelke Van Arkel Van Dusseldorp on May 28, 1908 near Otley, Iowa. She passed away on Wednesday, October 24, 2007 at the Pella Regional Health Center - Long Term Care at the age of ninety-nine years, four months, and twenty-six days.

On February 8, 1933 Anna was united in marriage with Abe Nunnikhoven in Sully, Iowa. To this union one son was born: Henry Lee. They lived on a farm near Pella where Anna kept busy caring for her family - planting and harvesting a large garden, canning, cooking, and sewing.

At the time of her death Anna was a member of Trinity Reformed Church in Pella. As long as her health permitted, she faithfully attended the Sunday morning worship service. She was an active member of the Trinity Sewing Bee, making quilts for missions and the needy.

Those left to cherish her memory are: her son and his wife: Henry Lee and Norma Nunnikhoven of Pella; four grandchildren: Marla Comstock, Vernon Nunnikhoven, Marcena Schwab, and Marsha Vander Hoek; eight great-grandchildren; and one great-great grandchild.

She was preceded in death by her husband, Abe, in 1995; three brothers: Bert Van Dusseldorp, Henry Van Dusseldorp, and Marion Van Dusseldorp; one great-grandchild: Michelle Denise Comstock.

Anna will always be remembered as a loving wife, mother, grandmother, great-grandmother, and great-great grandmother. She will be missed by her many friends and family.
